We have had 2 weeks of teaching in January.  Time for some winter and arctic lessons for Kindergarten plus time for the older students to visit the next lesson in Common Sense media on digital literacy.  The focus was our digital footprint for most of the grades!  First grade talked about feelings online.

I have heard many terms for our digital footprint or digital tattoo!  Either way, I hope students are more aware of what they post or is posted around them online.  In addition, we read a new book called "Troll Stinks".  This really shared an important message on cyber bullying in a fun way!


In STEAM, we are moving onto LEGO robotics and space fun.

Professionally, I have been busying reading and watching different items in preparation for my next set of meetings on the topic of CS for ALL! CS is short for Computer Science.  This is everything from coding to using applications to creating content to digital citizenship!
